2023 Ford Escape PHEV

Have You Placed Your 2023 Ford Escape PHEV Order?

The all-new 2023 Ford Escape made its debut last October and drummed up renewed interest from drivers across the nation. The all-new refresh of the Ford Escape included a slightly redesigned exterior and a cabin that touts all new tech features and enhancements. Coupled with its attractive tax credit eligibility under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, many drivers have been especially drawn to this well-loved SUV. For drivers who want an all-new 2023 Ford Escape PHEV of their own, however, the window for ordering your model is slowly closing. According to a report by Ford Authority, order banks are set to close next week. If you’re considering putting in your bid for an order, here’s what to know about this highly sought-
after SUV.

Order Banks are Closing, What Does This Mean For You?

Reports indicate that order banks for the 2023 Ford Escape PHEV are set to close at 10:00 p.m. EST on January 30th. After this cutoff date, dealers will not be able to submit orders on behalf of customers for the electric version of the Ford Escape. Based on stock, Ford does not guarantee that a Ford dealer will be able to continue ordering this particular model after the cutoff. Additionally, consumers are not guaranteed an automatic order for 2024 if they missed the 2023
cutoff date, and will instead have to process a new order for the 2024 model. Finally, if you do place your order before the order banks close, you will still be able to modify your purchase even after January 30th.

Economic Incentives Attracting Drivers

Tax credit incentives have driven many new drivers to purchase eco-friendly vehicles that are eligible for such benefits. A 2023 Ford Escape PHEV falls perfectly into this category. Ford Escape PHEV models that are purchased before January 1st, 2023 are eligible to receive
a $6,843 text credit, a nice chunk of change back for drivers during one of the most economically volatile markets in recent history. There is an MSRP limit of $80,000, which largely does not impact the 2023 Ford Escape PHEV models, even if you’re shopping for higher trims
that cap at just over $55,000.

What to Expect in the All-New 2023 Ford Escape PHEV

2023 is still continuing to recover from supply chain constraints during the pandemic. With that factor in play, Ford has had to cut out some offerings with their 2023 Escape production lineup. For example, the hands-free liftgate is dropped from tech package #2 which is available on certain trims.

Despite this, drivers can still look forward to a number of features and offerings included in the Escape enhancement. Many of these upgrades are tech related including more comprehensive standard offerings on higher trim models including in the ST-Line Elite and Platinum. Base
model customers will also see the addition of two different Series XM with 360L removal options and two manual key fob options.
