After a complete redesign, it’soften difficult for a brand to make more changes only a year later. Even so, the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado has been upgraded with more availability for the 6.2-liter V8 engine which is now offered on the Custom Trail Boss, LT Trail Boss, and the RST trim levels. At the other end of the power spectrum, the new 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine can now be had on the Custom trim level as an option and its standard on the LT and RST models.In addition, the 5.3-liter V8 Dynamic Fuel Management engine can now be had with a ten-speed automatic transmission which is standard on the LT Trail Boss and optional for the High Country model. Finally, the Duramax diesel engine is now offered to give the Silverado 1500 plenty of torque and refinement.

More Tech for the Ride

There’s more technology included in the new Chevrolet Silverado. You’ll enjoy the improved trailer apps and 15-view trailering camera system that’s now offered. The adaptive cruise control is enhanced with a new camera-based sensor to help this system work even better than in the past. Every trim of the Silverado has a standard seven-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a six-speaker sound system. The LT trim gives you two more USB ports, an eight-inch touchscreen, OnStar, and in-truck 4G LTE Wi-Fi. The upper trim levels add more USB ports, a variety of trailering apps and aids, multiple camera systems for parking and trailering, wireless smartphone charging, and audio upgrades.
