Ford Offers Trademarks with Names we Love

Ford has been on a trademark spree to protect some of the names that it wants to use on some of the new models that will be offered in the upcoming model year. The biggest news from Ford for 2020 is the fact that we’re going to see the newest version of the Ford Bronco as a new model that will be an SUV to handle the rugged trails and offer the off-road fun that we associate with this name. As you would expect, Ford will give us some specialized models of this SUV to give us the drive we want to enjoy on and off the roads.

Names that Could be Used

The upscale and rugged performers that will come from the Ford brand will wear some new names in the future. The Ford Ranger, the newest midsize truck from Ford, will possibly have the names Wildtrack, Badlands, and Adrenaline as different specialized models that could be chosen. The Ford Bronco is being trademarked with the names of Bronco Big Bend and Bronco Outer Banks as possible choices when you want to have a vehicle that’s specialized for the areas they are named for.

What do These Names Mean

Because Ford could use the names of two of the most popular vacation destinations in the country, we could see the specialized models of these Bronco SUVs built to handle the challenges in those areas.

Big Bend

The Big Bend model of the Ford Bronco refers to the Big Bend National Park in west Texas. This park spans the area from the Rio Grande which borders with Mexico and it offers several off-roading trails for anyone to explore. This could be the perfect destination for you and your friends to go when you purchase your Ford Bronco Big Bend and realize it has the rock-crawling and off-road prowess that you want to make use of when you head out on the trails.

Outer Banks

The Outer Banks model of the Ford Bronco refers to the barrier islands off the coast of North Carolina and Virginia. This is one of the most popular vacation spots in the country with long beaches and beautiful views. There are several shipwrecks along the coast and a herd of horses that live in the Corolla, NC area. The Ford Bronco Outer Banks could be a model that’s built with a rack for surfboards and the right equipment for you to head out on the beaches in the area that are only accessible by a 4WD vehicle.

The Waiting Game Continues

We’re waiting to see what the new Ford Bronco will be and what equipment will be included. While we wait, we can dream about what the Big Bend or Outer Banks versions of this SUV might be for the experience that we want to enjoy when we get behind the wheel and head out on the trails and beaches for some fun and activity in the wild areas of the country.
