Bentley Is Getting a New Model

A new Bentley heads to the market to join the lineup of high-priced, upper-crust luxury models that wealthy shoppers love to drive.

This new model hits the market to join the already impressive list of vehicles that come wearing the brand logo we associate with some of the top models. So far, this brand has not offered much information at all about this new vehicle. Will it be a car or an SUV? Is it possible this brand is heading to the truck world? The England-based luxury automaker has a long history of upscale and impressive vehicles that we love to admire, and a few drivers can enjoy.

A New Plan from a Top Name in the Automotive World

Even though we don’t know much about this new model, we know the company plans to move to electric vehicles starting in 2030, with the first electric vehicle arriving in 2025. We’ll see four additional electric vehicles that should give us the high-class EV driving we want to enjoy out on the road between those two years. This leaves a few more questions regarding how vehicles wearing the badge from this brand will travel on a single full charge. Once the first EV arrives in 2025, one more per year will come each year following that date.

The Preparations have Begun.

Bentley prepares for its electric vehicle future with investments in the current manufacturing area in England. The Dream Factory, a greenfield investment evolution of the Crewe site, has a lofty goal in mind. The plan for this company is to have a company that offers zero environmental impact once this new part of the factory is up and running. This change includes 10,000 new solar panels being installed on the site. This will give the place 40,000 solar panels at this one location.

This change is part of the Beyond100 initiative, which is meant to impact every area of the life cycle of a vehicle, from idea to production to driving.
