There are two engines offered for the GMC Yukon and GMC Yukon XL. The base V8 engine is a 5.3-liter model that offers you 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is attached to a six-speed automatic transmission for the drive and can be had with 2WD or 4WD. The more powerful engine is a 6.2-liter V8 that gives you 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque while being attached to a ten-speed automatic transmission for your driving pleasure.
