A New Airbag Issue

In the previous years, we’ve seen a variety of airbags that were installed in vehicles that were reported to be defective that had to be removed and replaced. The trouble in the past with the airbags that were installed was the fact that these models had defective parts and could cause injuries and damage inside the vehicle and causes a crash. Thankfully, this new airbag issue is one that doesn’t have that same characteristic, but it does show a problem that could be troublesome and needs to be corrected as soon as it possibly can to make sure you can be safe if you have one of these vehicles.

What’s the problem with the airbags? The trouble with the airbags that are installed in the models that we’re discussing can deploy and not inflate properly. This ends up causing injuries to be experienced that wouldn’t be as severe in a crash if the airbags deployed the way they should have. This lack of inflation is experienced during the second-stage deployment in a high-speed crash, which could leave you injured and make it difficult for you to recover from injuries that could have been prevented if the airbag functioned properly.
