Honda FCV Concept

When people think about concept cars, they normally imagine beautiful lines, futuristic ideas, and sharp colors. Every now and then, it’s the functionality of the vehicle that makes it a concept car. The latest comes from Honda, and it’s all about the hydrogen fuel cells.

The reason that this particular vehicle, the nameless fuel cell vehicle (FCV), is less flashy and more standard looking than most concept cars is because it’s nearing the final production variation of the model. It is expected to hit the roads of Japan in the first quarter of 2016 and then to other countries shortly thereafter.

According to the LA Times:

The vehicle, built around a powertrain that fits entirely into the front “engine” compartment, will have a driving range of more than 300 miles. Refueling takes three to five minutes.
